The new Astra Max van is pictured with production manager Willy Burns from fire appliance manufacturer 'Emergency One' along with one of his trusty older vans and an awesome ready to roll fire appliance. Wednesday, September 20, 2006![]() Newly crwoned GP2 champion Lewis Hamilton took to the wheel of the MP4-21 at Silverstone yesterday, after being confirmed as McLaren-Mercedes test driver. 'it feels great to be in F1' said the rookie. ![]() Silverstone pit lane 19.09.06 is blessed with sunshine and dry weather for day one of a three day F1 test session as the 2006 season draws to a close, with only 3 races to go. I was invited into the Midland F1 racing team factory and test session and spent the day shooting for the Science Photo library as Christian Albers pounded round Silverstone evaluating various tyre combinations. An awesome day and to be so close to such wonderful machines was pure heaven. Huge thanks to the Midland F1 Racing team.
